Freedom on the Move

The more explanatory metaphors on software/hardware freedom you read, the more you realize that the freedom doesn’t protect itself in the Age of Global Acquiescence. What’s the meme that will jar us from our dogmatic slumbers and cause us to realize that the maxim, “our comfort is not worth our freedom” applies to our everyday lives? Something like, “Google is the best Big Brother you never had” perhaps?
