Potpourri

July 9, 2009

Visual representations of opportunity costs can be valuable (and somewhat saddening, depending on how you look at the smallest sliver).

Jay Leno has a 3D scanner/printer for car parts.  When is the consumer-priced model coming out?  By Moore’s Law, I’d wager by 2030.  Unlike the “autonomobile” the Google Phone designers are working on.

I knew NYC’s winds were strong, but strong enough to power the world 100 times over?

I used to have a door that was used for similar games.

The Invention of Lying boasts the best cast of any comedy in recent memory and an awesome premise to boot.

The only question is whether or not it will reach for any deeper meaning or just some sappy aphoristic dicta to tie up the loose ends with a pretty bow on top.
