Free News Here, At Least

The difference between American news media and the rest of the world can be summarized in four pictures.

In sad news for their financial viability (and minor frustration for those of us who demand news online), the New York Times is going to start charging for content (at least as much as they can get for it).  At least their app looks cool.  When will people get that free is non-negotiable in the digital world?  Trent Reznor (of Nine Inch Nails) and the Beastie Boys (oddly enough) get it.
