More Americans Are Less Certain of Global Warming
Unsurprisingly (from my vantage point at least), more Americans are (re-)becoming skeptics when it comes to proof for global warming, according to a recent Pew Center poll.
57% think there is solid evidence that the average temperature on earth has been getting warmer over the past few decades. In April 2008, 71% said there was solid evidence of rising global temperatures.
Not to say “I told you so” or anything, but I have certainly written about this problem at length. When people leave the critical analysis to “someone else” (without questioning their credentials, loyalties, or biases) instead of grappling with a problem directly, they can be manipulated by sophistry and ulterior agenda. I guess all that’s left to say is “There goes the democracy”…not that anyone much minded or thought it was that serious of a problem.
