Internet Fun Pellets
September 30, 2010
One core argument of the importance of Internet freedom (which may be as close to a raison d’etre as this site may have), which I may have been neglecting lately, is just how great the Internet is if you know where to look. There are great things delivered to anyone at any time thanks to the Internet. And since I can do lots of delivery with relative ease, since I would have it delivered to myself anyway, it behooves me to take the minimal steps to make such wonderful content easy for others to digest as well.
Whether it’s linguistic observations,
wry perceptions of opportunity costs,
realizations that sketch comedy anticipated Glenn Beck’s whole shtick years ago,
shared ideas of various forms of improvement for the hacking inclined,
tons of meta- and self-referential humor,
really well-calculated parodies/synecdoches of the lower-brow stuff,
or contests to produce world-changing ideas like seriously free and worthwhile online education.
Take your pick. That’s the point.
