No More Frothing

Looks like it’s finally happened (ahead of schedule?).

Finally. Like the Birthers mentioned in the preceding post, Santorum’s crusade against mathematical certitude (enabled and fueled by the media’s desire to remain relevant and capture eyeballs) is finally over.

But since the media have already fallen down on the job of actually providing analysis on what Santorum’s campaign against inevitability, can we trust them to explain what Santorum’s failure means to politics in general? Or will they just concentrate on the human “interest” piece that is this abortion of a nominee?

At least we can count on Twitter to provide some real perspective:

Let’s just hope that the news algorithm will soon settle down and Google will be able to remember him for what he really stands for.
