Truth and Justice, as Opposed to the American Way
July 26, 2012
How many other inconvenient truths does this analogy apply to? I suspect many, many more. Let’s start a list.
- The titular Inconvenient Truth;
- Humans are naturally polygamous;
- America is not so much a democracy or republic as much as America is an oligarchy or maybe a plutocracy;
- The USSR was not so much a socialist or communist country as it was a Stalinist and totalitarian one; and
- Nobody cares about their own rights anymore.
Got any worth adding? Leave a comment.

!0/10 for these, Rick.
I would also add:
“There are actually no true inventors or designers”
and refer you again to my latest book “The Goldilocks Effect: What Has Serendipity Ever Done For Us” (free download)
Which may take the prize in the “Inconvenient Truth” stakes because it strikes at the very heart of our habitual anthropocentric mind-sets.
I kid ya not!
The fact that we invaded South Vietnam.
Good point. Add to the list:
We lost in Iraq.
Afghanistan is still a failed state.
