Olympic Spoiler Alert

Prediction: if the United States disappoints in the overall medal count at the end of the Olympics, the GOP will find a way to blame Obama.
Of course, those Republicans would then be in the position of criticizing a president for failing to use sufficient government resources on an egalitarian athletic competition located in another country in order to curry international favor and respect.
Some will suggest that Obama should have lowered taxes on the wealthy and corporate patrons of Olympic athletes, others will suggest we shouldn’t have recognized the legitimacy of an international world order.
The irony will be totally missed on all of them.
