The Wisdom of Crowds?

Google, consistent with their overall strategy and mechanics, is letting you vote on the best idea that has potential to change the world…which they will fund.  I voted for “Make government more transparent,” but mostly because I think “Build real-time, user-reported news service” and–to a lesser extent–“Make educational content available online for free” will happen whether or not Google funds them.  Take your own pick and make it happen, people.
